My grandfather was born on 2nd March, 1911, and we believe it was in Kentucky, USA. Birth mother or father names are unknown. His adopted parents were Robert Logan Ablett (1876, possibly 1875 - 1940) and Mary Elizabeth McDowell/ Ablett (1887 - ?). We have found records of them and their biological child, also Robert Ablett.
