I am looking for the names of my great-grandmother's birth parents.

JESSIE (MAE, possibly) DYER, born 2 April 1870. Jessie DIED on 28 January 1953. Her father's name may have been John Dyer (or Dwyer) and he died between 1872-1875. Jessie married Martin Cavanagh.

The family of William H & Betsy Lawton adopted her when she was small, after her parents died. My family story is that the Dyers and the Lawtons were on a wagon train in Iowa when Jessie's parents died and the Lawton's adopted her.
