I would suggest that you look for a marriage record for Carrie Todd around or after 1954. I believe they will search for 10 years.
If you find a husband then you could use one of the FREE online telephone directorys to locate him.
www.whitepages.comAnother suggestion is to check at
www.whitepages.com for the surname "Todd" in Honolula Hawaii. I believe there were 13 listings for men. Maybe one of them could be the brother of Carrie Todd and son of Morris & Ruth Todd.
I would also post at the Rootsweb surname boards for the "Todd" name.
You might check out the International Soundex Reunion Registry at
www.isrr.net Not sure if they require a name for the adoptees or not but worth a look.
Not sure if you can apply for Non-Id information from adoption records without a name and correct birthdate, but maybe using the mothers name it might be possible. Type in "Hawaii Adoption Records" in your search engine and links will come up that might help.
Another thing you might do to see if Carrie Todd had a male sibling is to go to call your Public Library and see if they offer "Ancestry" on their free-use or research computers. You could do a 1930 lookup in Hawaii for Morris Todd to see if he was married to Ruth by that census and just maybe they had a son born by 1930.
You could then do a lookup for the son's name at
www.whitepages.com Hope some of this helps,
P.J.
