My father and his twin brother were taken by the state of Florida from their single mother in Nov. 1925. They were placed with an older couple in Sanford Florida. They were never actually adopted but changed their names to Pixler as teenagers.
At birth, they were named Calvin Coolidge Lee and John Davis Lee. Their birth father was married to someone else at the time. Y-dna tests show that the father's name was Wilcox.
They were born in Ft Myers Florida but no information if one or both parents lived there.
Birth mother was born about 1895, birth father about 1890.
Birth mother had 2 sisters and one was married to an attorney.
