I checked your website---very nice!!!
It provided the date of birth of your birth mother and her date of death. I don't know if the brother sought has the same birth mother, but anyone who finds her entry on the Social Security Death Index
http://ssdi.rootsweb.commight be interested in opening a Post-em annotation, that is, if you post one containing contact information for you or your website.
I found the entry for Dorothea SMALL by inputting her two dates, using the Advanced Search. At the right hand side of her entry there is a clickable button "Add Post-em."
Now, let me explain why the odds are against you :
1. Your brother may have already checked the SSDI at Rootsweb before you posted the Post-em.
2. He might use a different company's version of the SSDI and never see your Post-em.
3. The software company might go out of business in the futute (I hope not) and its SSDI might be discarded.
So, the odds are against anyone's Post-em ever being seen by a relative. If you're an optimist, go ahead and post it---it's free.
