Hello! I may have information! I've been trying to find my (by blood) family history. I don't know all the details, but my mother's name before adoption was Jackie Grady, she was born in Oklahoma on Feb 3rd 1960, and then lived with her granddad for several years before he died of a heart attack (from what I remember being told?) and then she was adopted after living with a foster family for a couple years. I'm sure she would love to reconnect with her blood family, as would I. She did end up finding her foster family several years ago and was so happy. I really hope you reply, I've been dying to find something about my blood family from either side (I know nothing about my father either =( )

I will ask her tomorrow for more specific info (the town she was born in and if she remembers parents/grandparents names, etc...) and add it to this post.

EDIT: She's told me that according to her birth certificate she was born in Bartlesville in Washington county memorial hospital, she doesn't remember for sure the names of anyone, but she had thought through the years that her moms name Rosie Lea, and remembers her granddad as John (Dixon?) She does remember that her mom had epilepsy (assuming epilepsy because she saw seizures and saw her take medication) She remembers living with the grandparents in Springdale, AR and thinks it was on Johnson st, and she knows it was a block or a few from an Emma St. She remembers her grandmother dying first, being taken off in an ambulance, and then her grandfather died a couple years later right in front of her in the front yard from a heart attack. She attended 1st grade at north central elementary school.
