I am looking for information on my grandfather, James Middleton Davidson. He was born on October 25, 1905 in Aberdeen, Scotland and died in Annapolis, Maryland on September 19, 2001. A researcher in Scotland was kind enough to look for records in Scotland for me, but came up empty. It is possible that he was adopted. It is possible that he was adopted into the Davidson family right after his birth, his mother being a neighbor of the Davidson's. Other possibilities -he grew up with several sisters - he immigrated to America at the age of 19 - still has close relatives in Aberdeen.
