I have a personal connection to adoption and for the past 25 years, I have been searching for and reuniting families separated through adoption, on a non-profit basis.
I would be happy to try and assist you find the information you need and it might just be possible to tell you just by looking at your mother's certificates.
If you could scan me over a copy of her original-name birth certificate and also a copy of the amended certificate in her adoptive name, I'll be happy to look at this for you.
