A couple of weeks ago my Mum passed away suddenly. To take my mind off things and spurred on by the numerous documents I've had to sort out I decided to trace the family tree.

I've managed to go back pretty far on my Dad's side (who passed away over 10 years ago) and been quite successful with my mother's adopted parent. All that is really left is my mother's birth mother.

I have the name of her birth mother and the address where my mother was born in Gorleston Great Yarmouth. I've checked on 192.com and have tried the name of the person living there and search using both names with no luck. Also search her name by itself and there are a couple of possibilities.

Any ideas on where to go next? My Mum was born in the early 50's.
