Non id is information on your birth family with out giving out any personal identification.. They are required by law to give you certain non id within a certain length of time after you apply for it. If you search for adoption laws by state you can read the states laws. remember that sometimes there are changes they may not be posted yet. the website Adoption.com has the state laws. It may even explain what Non id is and the lengths of time the clerks have to get the info to you. I do know that the state of Missouri does require the adopted parents to sign (if they are alive). Does not matter if the adoptee is of age or not. Riciculous! I would also contact catholic charities. Hopefully there will be some clues in the non id.If you get real lucky a clerk somewhere at sometime may have forgotten or missed blacking something out. That has happened. Good Luck.
