I am looking for anyone knowing any information concerning the birth of edna kane. her parents were thomas kane and alice mackin. edna was born 1/30/1897 in new york city and baptized at st. stephen's catholic church on athe 5th of february 1897. the address of the church at this time was 142 east 29th st. new york city. unsure of why but edna was in one of the fondling homes that placed children on the orphan train that came to clinton county ia. would like to know if there any living relatives that could fill in the missing links to edna's past. thanks. the only other information we have is an alice mackin that came to ellis island at the age of 16, on the 7th of may in 1894. any help or information would be greatly appreciated. yvonne henn
