I'm looking for the birth family of a female child born in South Australia 1896 who was fostered (family has always said she was 'adopted' but there was no law on adoption in SA at the time).

I saw your post about possible selling of a child from that time and place. Just wondering if you made any progress finding out about your person or had any tips.
