The man in the top old photo in the uniform is Herbert Brian Newton. You can see my Mother was rather a beautiful lady.

I shall have to speak to my family re meeting, but will keep in touch at least by email.
I am so glad [& my Mother in heavon] that I have been able to provide you with so much information. As mentioned , my Mother gave me the funeral notice of Dennis's adopted father for a reason. The only living relative from that generation of my Mother is my Mother's sister-in-law who is 102 years old.
I shall have to write a Word Doc. with more edtails about my family.
