I am looking for my paternal grandmother family(Dutton) ,all I know is that she was Indian or part Indian and she gave birth to my father,James Rufus Cosby, born around 1916 and his brother Joseph Leon Cosby Jr., in Tarboro, NC. She put them in an orphanage and several years later their father Joseph Leon Cosby Sr. took them out and raised them until his death sometime around 1930.I also know that he had some cousins in NC by the name of Richard Ward and Lucille Jones , they both moved to Philadelphia, Pa. My father,James and his brother, Joe, also moved to Phila some time around the late 1940's or early 1950's, this is where they both died.My father married my mother Bernice Trusty in 1951 and togethr they had ten children, all still living today in Phila. , except myself who lives in South Carolina.
I also would like to find his daughter,I believe her name was Caroline, but I am not sure,I believe she was born in NC possibly Tarboro, possibly around 1938. She married young and wanted to move to Phila. with my mother and father , but my father refused to let her come, to my regret.
