I don't know if this is the right place to post this for help but I hope someone can help guide me!!!

I am trying to find out how to.obtain adoption records on Guam from about 1958. My half brother, and his 3 siblings (also my half siblings) were adopted by his mothers 2nd husband while they were stationed on Guam. His mother just passed away and we just found out that ALL of her papers were destroyed by the oldest daughter, his sister, when his mothers house had to be sold. My brother was not told until now and he thought that he would be able to get these records sometime before his mother passed or shortly after. He is ill and may need to prove his adoption to the military for VA benefits. I have looked online but have not had much success in getting information. If anyone has any advice, it would be greatly appreciated.
