I remember as a child hearing something mentioned about my grandfathers biological mother being White and his biological father being Hispanic. Considering the time this kind of thing was frowned upon. This being the very reason she could not keep him. No proof ...all just hear say.

My grandfathers adoptive parents were referred to as Ama Lala and Apa Alfredo.
