I have his death certificate and it shows his parents (Elmer/Mary) lived in Walpole, NH. His correct unit assignment was: Headquarters Company, 2nd Batallion, 27th Regiment, 25th Infantry Division. (HHC/2/27-25ID).
The reason he was with HQ Company is because he was a Medic - then would be assigned out to an Infantry Company as needed. He arrived in-country on 04 Jan 1966 and KIA on 14 Feb 66 while attached to Alpha Co. Six (6) soldiers were KIA in the firefight, including another Medic (Garry Coyle - Clayton, NJ).
DoD has his "official" Home of Record as Walpole, NH. He is buried at St Joseph Cemetery in Keene, NH.
Hope this helps,
