There 's a George Taylor born in Mill Meece showing on 1891 census living in Newcastle under lyme, spouse Martha. Also shows in 1901 and 1911 (birth place slightly different)

Unless you come across a census while he was still active duty, which is what I presumably did for one of my wife's ancestors - street address showed for ours, "Fouth Q O (Queen's Own) Hussars" which were one regiment that served in India.

There are other genealogy sites with payment options that have many (but not yet all) of BMD info available. Basic search for index info is usually free but they charge to view.
