There is only one return with name of Glisbey from the indexed Medal Index cards at the National Archive documents online at http://www.nationalarchives.gov.uk/documentsonline/medals.as... :

Glisbey D; Corps: Military Mounted Police; Regimental No P/8129; Rank Corporal

The Medal index card is also available on Ancestry and this also confirms there are no other medal cards for Glisbey surnames. It was possible that he received a commission later, even after the war so I checked the London Gazette at http://www.gazettes-online.co.uk/ from 1899 to 1950 and there is no records of an officer named Glisbey being Gazetted as either receiving his first commission or on promotion.

Surviving WWI Service records and those rebuilt from pension records [if the soldier was discharged to pension] are available on microfilm at the National Archives but are not indexed by name in the catalogue. Both sets of records have been digitised and are available on Ancestry; it would appear that like the vast majority of soldiers’ records, D Gisbey’s didn’t survive the WWII Blitz and there will be no other records.
