Does anybody have any info on William F. Pendleton. He was about 24 when he enlisted on July 4th, 1862 in Lincolnton. He was in Co. G of the 57th Reg. He fought around Gettysberg, was wounded at Hanover and spent time in a Hospital. He was captured later and ended the war at a POW camp in Elmira, NY. He was released in 1865.
