Having just entered all these words into the search facility there appears to be no one as yet connected to the Woolley families living in this part of Staffordshire. Our direct ancestor is Robert Woolley, Yeoman, born around 1731 and married to Mary Mellor at Alton in 1767. If any future linked rsearcher comes across this message it would be good to hear from you. I am also aware of many other Woolleys in this area.
