I am researching Walter Woodward, born 1791 died 1853. He married Margaret Dings (1795-1878), and lived at Clifton Park NY from at least 1840 on. He is buried in the Clifton Park Dutch Reformed Church Cemetery with his wife and several children, and his headstone says he died on Sep 2, 1853 age 62 y, 1m and 11 d, which puts his date of birth very close to the Walter listed on a family tree posted here to ancestry.com (son of John ID I3874, and brother of Ezra), and mentioned in other postings as a brother to Ezra. I'm wondering what the sources were for Walter's birth and parents. Since his wife Margaret Dings' family was from nearby Ancram, I suspect that this could be the same Walter, which would be a major lead for us. His son Martin was my g-g-g-grandfather. Any info would be appreciated.
