This is an old post but thought I might give it a try. Minnie Bell Widner is the daughter of Rody Caroline Widner and allegedly Willis Monroe "Mun" Evans. In 1920 she and her husband are a few households away from my gr-grandmother, Rebecca Rose Hale who is the granddaughter of Louisa Evans. Louisa is daughter of W.H. "Willis or Willie" Evans b. 1792. Not sure, but there may be a connection between my Evans and the William Evans b. 1793 who was father of Willis Monroe Evans.
