Hi Katrina may well be :) alfred the elder whetton came out here in 1860 his wife mercy nicholson whetton followed him with her 3 children they where from Hull Yorkshire they setteled in The Rocks area Sydney however alfreds brother Walter LockhartWhetton came out here 1858 and settled in Melbourne he married bertha he started the first wol wash on the yarra river,we have elizabeths in the family :) I am not on ancestry.com at this present moment but you can email me on rozhanson@hotmail.com alfred and walters father was william whetton a hatter he married elizabeth lockhart they had twins and a girl named caroline who stayed behind in england and we are hoping to trace her line ?? what part of london was your will from and his occupation ??
