oh my gosh you are the first link i may have to my welter line.
my grandmother was isabel barbara welter heflin she was born in oregon she had a brother named nicholas welter who was born around 1892 and died around 1942. she had another brother named frank who was also born in oregon and died and is buried in oregon i met him and his wife olive when i was about 7 or 8. i have a picture of them with other children and their parents. this is the first possible link i have to this line. i dont know any other info except on the back of the picture it mentions a margret, mayme and jude. the picture was taken about 1910. nicholas was listed in the 1920
kentucky census living with my grandmother and grandfather but i have no trace of him before and after that. it doess state that he was born in oregon and his mother was from indiana and father from germany. i hope this helps you and any help you can give me would really be appreciated i have been stuck in oregon for about 10 months and the only if i have is on frank and his wife. barb
