I'm sorry to hear the bad news in your family. I hope you are coping OK. In the meantime, I have been busy. I have started a new thread "Descendants of Joseph William Wegley", with the minimal facts that I have on everyone. So far I have 142 descendants listed, but I really do have to get ready for Christmas, so it will be a few days before I get back to it.
Does anyone have easy access to Heritage Quest? Many libraries subscribe, but you have to use it in house most of the time. They have digitized a book about Shelby county, Ohio that mentions Wegleys and George Pope for sure. I didn't have much time to figure it out, and use it at the library, and I couldn't figure out how to make copies, but it is sure worth a second look. There were a couple other hits when I typed in Wegley, but I didn't look at them.
Also, you have said a couple times that the Berkebile book is available on line. I think it would be a good idea to post the web address here, for people who have been following these discussions.
