I was on your surname group a long time ago. I was researching Peter Waring born about 1808. Family says Vermont or CT. I have him in Madison Co., New York till about 1860 then they moved to BlackHawk Co. Iowa an died in Harrison co. Iowa. I have written letters to Madison, Dutches an Puttman co. trying to find out who his parents were. He was married to Delia Burton Jan 14, 1849. He was older when he married Delia so I figure he probably was married before. I know he had brother Ramson or relative as he lived with them in New York census.
