I have Hannah Flewelling m. William Wallace. Assuming that your Herb Estey Wallace was their son, their family was:
42N91. HANNAH (or SARAH?) AMELIA FLEWELLING
Hannah (or Sarah?) Amelia Flewelling b. Lincoln, York (or Sunbury?) Co., NB 19APR1847, d. Patterson Settlement, Sunbury Co., NB 17AUG1923 m. Lincoln or Fredericton, NB 16JUN1867 William Wallace (b. ca. 1841), s/o Eliza (_____) Wallace.
In 1881, William and Hannah are found in Blissville, Sunbury Co., NB. William is a farmer, and all are Free Christian Baptists, except their youngest child, Hartley, who, at the age of 2 months, decided to be Methodist. With them was a widow, Eliza Wallace (b. ca. 1807), presumably William’s mother. William may be the William Wallace who d. York Co., NB 18FEB1931. Hannah would be the Hannah Wallace who d. York Co., NB 16AUG1923.
The children, below, are taken from the 1881 census, birth records at the PANB web site, and a query by Susie Davidson at the Ancestry.com Wallace board, 2FEB2003. Because of the unreliability of the 1881 census, some children may be entered twice.
Their children are:
42N911. DAVID WALLACE b. ca. 1869
42N912. FREDERICK WALLACE b. ca. 1870
42N913. WILLIAM WALLACE b. ca. 1871
42N914. ANNA WALLACE b. ca. 1873
42N915. AMELIA DEBORAH (‘DEBE’) WALLACE b. Patterson Settlement, Sunbury Co., NB 10JAN1874
42N916. ISAAC WALLACE b. ca.1876
42N917. EZEKIEL M. WALLACE b. ca. 1878
42N918. ‘MAUNEE’ WALLACE (son) b. ca. 1880, possibly the Manzer Wallace who d. Sunbury Co., NB 5JUL1947
42N919. HARTLEY WALLACE b. FEB1881
42N91J. HERB ESTEY WALLACE b. 1882, m. GLADYS GLIDDEN (b. 1893)
42N91K. WILLIAM WILMOT WALLACE b. Patterson Settlement, Sunbury Co., NB 7APR1883
42N91L. ERNEST LEROY WALLACE b. Patterson Settlement, Sunbury Co., NB 3MAY1885
42N91M. EDITH WALLACE
42N91N. KENNETH WALLACE
Hannah' parents were:
42N9. JOHN FLEWELLING
John Flewelling b. 2JUN1820, bpt. Kingston, Kingston Parish, Kings Co., NB 24SEP1820, d. 1862, m. 2JUN1846 Ann (“Annieâ€) Jane Secord Dibblee (b. 23(or 20)APR1812, d. 13MAY1894), d/o Ebenezer and Elizabeth (Secord) Dibblee. (Elizabeth Secord was the daughter of William Henry and Ruth (Hunt) Secord; and, therefore, the sister of Sarah Secord who m. Jacob Flewelling, s/o Thomas Flewelling of Oak Point.) He appears in the 1851 census of Greenwich Parish, Kings Co., NB.
Some information on John and Ann’s family comes from an, Internet Family Tree, 24AUG2001, apparently created by Martyn L. S. Hall, starting at:
http://thehalls.50megs.com/Report026/wc_toc.htm While his name might be indicative of his supposed paternal grandfather, John Flewelling of Newburgh; it is more likely that it suggests his maternal grandfather, John Flewelling, Jr., s/o John of Newburgh.
At URL:
http://www.geocities.com/debatorca/data/wga23.html#I3770is part of a web site called, Kriko’s Kornor, which deals heavily with this part of the Flewelling family, and related families.
Their children are:
42N91. HANNAH (or SARAH?) AMELIA FLEWELLING b. Lincoln, York (or Sunbury?) Co., NB 19APR1847, d. Patterson Settlement, Sunbury Co., NB 17AUG1923 m. Lincoln or Fredericton, NB 16JUN1867 WILLIAM WALLACE (b. ca. 1841)
42N92. FREDERICK DIBBLEE FLEWELLING b. Oak Point, Greenwich Parish, Kings Co., NB 30JAN1850, d. 7DEC1927 (or 1926 in the Hall website, and in Kriko‘s Kornor), m. 4JUL1877 MIRIAM JANE BOONE (b. Burtt’s Corner, York Co., NB 13JUL1859, d. 12JUN1912), d/o George and Huldah Sisson (Allen) Boone (Huldah was the d/o Thomas and Lydia (Haines) Boone, a line-of-descent which exemplifies, but hardly clarifies, the extensive Haines/Boone/Allen relationships which affect this part of the Flewelling family, and of part of the family of Nehemiah Flewelling); m. 2nd Carleton Co., NB 28APR1915 CHARLOTTE DRAKE
42N93. JOHN ALFRED FLEWELLING b. 18JAN1852, d. Fredericton, York Co., NB 9NOV1948, bur. Fredericton, m. 23(or 3)AUG1881 EUNICE AMELIA McKENZIE
