Hi Amy, my grandfather was Col. George Chason Walker, he was born in Aucilla in 1917. He was in the US Army his entire life, starting in WWII and was based around the world throughout his career. He had two sons, David and Richard (my dad). When he retired he and my grandma, Martha Dean, moved to Tallahassee and lived there until they both passed in 1995. My dad was very interested in looking through our family genealogy but he passed 6 years ago and I lost most of what he had found through his research.

I am wondering if you can ask your grandmother about my grandpa, George Chason Walker?

I know there are a lot of Walker's in the area but was wondering if there may be some kind of family relationship.
