Up to 1918 the records would reflect dual monarchy Austria-Hungary. The spelling VRABEC is in Slovak grammar and VRABECZ is Magyar/Hungarian. After the fall of the empire several new countries were formed and one was Czechoslovakia which in 1993 separated into Czech Republic and Slovak Republic.

Poz could be short for Pozsony and meg for megye which together be Pozsony megye / Bratislava county now present Slovak Republic. You still need to locate a name of a town.
