Hi, I am Elaine Via, the group administrator for the Y-DNA Via Surname Project. I am looking for some male Via, Viar, Viars, Vier, Viers, Vea, Viel, Voiers, LaVia, DaVia and any other spelling to join our Y-DNA project. We are not sure how our ancestors spelled their last name before they came to America. So I am looking for males with different spellings that might have been our ancestors last name. If your DNA matches any of our members in our project, that would be very helpful to us and to you also. The DNA test kit is sent to your home and you do the test in your home. The test kit is then put in the mail to the Family Tree DNA Company in Texas. It takes about two months to get the DNA results back. As of right now we have 47 members in our DNA project, but we get new members all the time. Their ancestors came from England, France, Italy and unknown. Please come and join our project and learn about your DNA. Y-DNA Via Surname Project, please check it out. http://www.familytreedna.com/group-join.aspx?Group=Via You will see our Project Website address on our home page. Please click on that, then click on Y-DNA Results at the top of the page, (I like Classic) you will see a chart with all the DNA results in our project. Your DNA tells alot about you and your ancestors, you might get a surprise with your results! My e-mail address is Y.DNA.Via.Surname.Project@gmail.com If you have ANY questions please just ask me. Jessica maybe you can ask a uncle or male cousin (Via) in your family line to join the Y-DNA Project for you. That is what my brother did for me. Lets have some FUN with your DNA! Sincerely, Elaine =^..^=
