In my mother's family's papers there is a reference to an "Aunt Margie." That is all that I know. My grandmother's sister who was born after 1872 was Cristel Callahan who married a James or Jim Vance. They had a baby. Do not know the sex of the child. My mother thought that Cristel died around the age of 18.

Since this Margie is labled "aunt," maybe she is Jim's aunt. Maybe she married into the Vance family and so her maiden name is something else.

Jim and Cristel married in St Francois Co., MO I found a piece of the marriage record, but do not have the date here in front of me. They might have been around Flat River area. If Cristel did die, Jim might have moved to another location and maybe remarried.
