My grandfather was Winslow Mathews Van Brunt who resided in Omaha, Nebraska until his death in 1981. I am related to the Omaha Van Brunts. My mother, who is still living is Mary Elizabeth Van Brunt/Weigel and resides currently in California and her sister who is still living is Alice Irene Van Brunt/Williamson who is currently residing in Omaha. I am unable to connect to your Van Brunt but their might still be a distant relation. Rutger Joetren Van Brunt was the ancestor who immigrated to the New York from the Netherlands in 1653. I am still looking for more descendant of this ancestor and for the line in the Netherlands.
