I am only just seeing this message now in trying to find information on my grandfather who happened to be a Raymond Van Zile. If we are talking about the same person it would have been in the 1930's and the 1940's as he did live in Paterson at that time and rode motorcycles. He married my grandmother Inez Barnes (later divorced)and had my mother Veronica and my uncle Russell. My grandfather passed away in 1972 I believe it was. His son by his second wife still lives in Tampa Fl. and you may be able to get more information from him.
