I am the Great Granddaughter of Joe and Maggie Turner. My Grandparents - Irish and Mariah (maiden name West) Turner lived in around Hawkinsville, Georgia in the early 1900's. They also possibly lived near Cochran, Georgia and also lived in Chattanooga, Tennessee as well. I have found the 1920, 1930 and 1940 US Federal Census information for Irish & Mariah Turner, but would like to know more. I am seeking any information regarding my ancestors referenced above. The were listed as Mulatto.
