I am trying to find some information on William Townsend that was married to my cousin, Dorothy Ziemer, daughter of Harry and Lillie Ziemer, in Fairmont Minnesota. They had a son William (Billy). William sr. was in world war II. He was captured and injured in the war. He lost his leg and had a wooden leg. He fell and injured above the leg and cancer set in and he died of liver cancer three months later. Hie wife Dorothy remarried in 1969. I don't know when he was born or the date of his death. My father George Ziemer used to tease Billy all the time. Telling him to get in the corner. Any information would be great. Can you help?
