Hi there. I am a Stockley in Australia. It seems I have a lot of stockley ancestors in England but i am struggling to find any real leads. my great grandfather came here with his wife, my grandad\ and my great uncle in 1928. I have gone back a little way to Thomas William Stockley b 1845 in Brentford, England and he died 13 Nov 1934.
He was married to Emma Richardson. this makes thomas my 5 generations great grandad. I would love to know as much as possible about my stockly family. What I do know is that we all seem to be from london area. esp Brentford.. There is also one of my great great uncles - James Attle Stockley who immigrated to Canada and served in a number of battles and wars. According to his war file he was heavily tattooed.
