Classification: Query
Surnames: Strickland, Stickland, Sticklin
I'm researching William Stickland, ironmonger of London, (b. 1618, baptism in Alton Pancras, Dorset, d. 1670 and is buried in Frant, Sussex) and his wife Elizabeth Cripse (b. 1626, baptism Horsted Kenes, Sussex, d. ?)

William and Elizabeth purchased a 100 acre property called Lightland in Frant Sussex in 1651. The land was owned by the family for five generations till aft 1791. Immigrant ancestor was a g-g-grandchild of William and Elizabeth through his grandson Estmond/Eastmond.

I'm trying to confirm William's ancestors, and trying to find other descendants. Particularly trying to find a relative that is interested in genetic genealogy. I have a three generation linkage that is only confirmed by circumstancial evidence at the immigrant ancestor point. With the only surviving males of my husbands line being himself, his father, and his uncle, I would love to find a relative of another line who is interested in y-dna comparision to help me confirm my paper trail.
