To search for Steiner and any other person who might have an Anabaptist connection - ie Canton of Berne, Alsace-Lorraine, etc., to go www.omii.org. Then go to the databases. Sometimes you'll find that the front end of the database works, but nothing happens when you click the database, and this is because of a fluke which we have been unable to resolve save by manually resetting the server.

You'll find a number of databases, and you have to enter each one and search. Start with Kidron. James Hostetler's database is the most used, and is actually used in a different form at the NIH. the "Other" is a conglomeration of 83 separate databases.
