CHILLICOTHE: Virginia A. Keller, 88, of Chillicothe, Ohio, died 4:20 p.m. Wednesday, July 1, 2015 in Four Winds Community Nursing Home, Jackson, Ohio unexpectedly.'

She was born June 15, 1927, in Chillicothe, Ohio (Ross County) to the late Erdis and Blanche Search Stanhope.

On Feruary 16, 1946, she married Everett Keller Sr. who died July 26, 1972.

Surviving are a son, Everett (Darlene) Keller, Jr., of Chillicothe; a son-in-law, Raymond Poynor, of Chillicothe; grandchildren, Jessica R. (Jeremy) Wolfe, Dedra (Mike) Lesage, Brad (Desiree) Poynor, Elena Davis, Mitchell, Everett E. and Steven Keller; several great-grandchildren, including, Kloe, Oliver, Jade, Jacie, Jake and Meredith; and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a daughter, Deborah Poynor; brothers, Clarence R., Henry D., Erdis Jr., Thomas M., Robert E., and James L. Stanhope; and sisters, Mary E. Stanhope and Bernice Black.

Virginia retired from Southeastern School District where she had worked as a cook.
She was a member of F.O.E. Aerie 600.
Funeral services will be held 10 a.m. Monday, July 6, 2015 in the WARE FUNERAL HOME. Chillicothe, Ohio

Burial will follow in Charleston Church of the Brethren.
Friends may call at the Ware Funeral Home from 3 to 5 p.m. Sunday.
