I found a clue yesterday that you will find of interest - Poor Aunt Dippy- most likely her cause of death was Heartbreak- she lost so many little children.

Saturday, July 9, 1892, at the home of her father, Clara, youngest daughter of S. S. and Z. J. Simmons, aged 7 years, 5 months and 12 days.
She was born in Pamona California, and died in McComb City, Miss. Clara was a sweet, loving little girl and 'twas hard to give her up. "Thy will, oh Lord, not ours, be done.
