I noticed from a very old contact on Ancestry this particular reply and wondered if this address is still in use for info on the "new Shipleys" I do have some questions.
I also would like to know if there is information on who Wincea is? She was married to Jesse Blackwell son of Joseph in Tenn. Born per census sheet in Tenn, married in Tenn, and some of her children born there. Was she perhaps Cherokee? I found a listing of her name among a slave index and wondered if she had been a slave?
