This letter was written to a brother who had gone to Australia in search of gold and then farmed around Melbourne ..my elusive line disappear fro near Callan after the births of 11 chn 1821-1841 ,, to Thomas shea and Nellie Miles[moyle myles]I am in touch with kerrie shea now in Bacchus Marsh aus and we are trying to piece it together..My grt gf edmond shea born 1829 also went to aust before settling in NZ at the time..He was the father of Arch bishop Thomas O'shea nz [see on google]would love to talk further.. we know several Egan families in NZ too..
