It's refreshing to be re-acquainted with this messages loop from the mid-2000s about the Shanahans etc.
I've recently re-visted the plethora of files and information received at that time in order to nail down some of the confusing connections to my own satisfaction to some degree. That's an ongoing process.

The query about the Connollys is too vague, but that might be all that you have in that regard.
There are several Connolly families in the Bantry area.

I'm descended from Connollys of Firkale.
I'm also related to Connollys of Droumgarriff.
Both places are near Glengarriff in the Bantry Bay area.

It's my understanding that there's a locally well known family of the name in Ardnatrush, also in the Bantry Bay area.
And there'd be other families of the name around Bantry town too.

Unfortunately, I don't think that these couple of snippets are of much use to you.
More specific information is required.
