Remember this ... in those early years most spoke broken English or none at all. In my line John Seckler was buried as John Sickler however further down the line his children spelled it Seckler and all the dates matched up therefore, Sickler is Seckler. Its tough I know, just look for that one tie in to make your connection strong. I am still working on John to make a even stronger connection.
