I am interested in your posting of Alonze Seaman. I have a Alonzo Seaman married to Rebecca A. Rose. Alonzo was born in NY 2 Feb 1832 in Broome County Ny to Rev George W. and Clarissa (Works) Seaman. His Father was a minister of the Congregational Church and became of of the early preacherr of Illinois His Father, George W. Seaman passed away in 1845.

As far as I can tell, Alonze Seaman never moved out of Cedar County Iowa. In 1887, Alonzo Seaman rented his land and purchesed four and a half acres in Clarence, where he retired.

They had 4 children.
