Sounds like they could be connected. Where does your family come from. My GGGrandpa's father was from England and his mother from Canada. He had a brother named Will or William? and a sister named?. I'm still trying to find that out. Most of my Bates family lived in MN. I know that Will lived in CA. I'm not sure about his sister. Hopefully I'll find out something soon. Thanks for the reply.
