Yes I am pretty sure these are the same people. George commonly went by Philip as it was his middle name and Barbary was just a glitch by the census writer or the person adding the census to the web.

Alot of the time I see census records that have quite different dates, so I usually rely on more acurate documents such as marriage or death certificates for dates of birth, death, etc. I've also found that sometimes even places of origin are incorrect or vary amongst census records. I never really trust them fully because they are written by a third party, but you can usually group them together as being the same family, which is what I did here.

Very neat about finding Bavaria and Nassau on the records, I suppose he would be from Bavaria and she from Nassau and the sons they perhaps picked one and wrote it in as parents birthplace, I'm not sure about that. Could be another census glitch :)
