Barbara Schollenberger-
1900 census- birth May 1840
1880 census- birth 1848 (32yrs old)
- est.immigration and marriage date 1864
She lived in Cleveland, Cuyahoga County, Ohio with her husband George Philipp Corbin (Korber). They lived in Randall, bedford, and I believe Warrensville Hts, but mostly Bedford. They had two sons and a daughter: Fredrick, William and Mary.
This Elizabeth Schollenberger is a person that I have only seen come up once in a letter she sent from Obernheim. Now that I look back at the letter, it says that she is writing to her Uncle and Aunt in-laws, which would have to be her husband's family, so Schollenberger must be her married name. She says she is in Obernhein (yr 1886) with son Karl, and possible daughter she calls Lenchen, which is a german nickname for Helen or Ellen. She also discusses another possible daughter that was living in Homburg named Nelle. My translation is a bit fuzzy through here, so perhaps this could also be the person being called Lenchen. She has a sister in-law named Maria, Maria's daughter is Katharinchen who lives in Hetterheim.
Well that is the gist of it for now, It's probably more info than you wanted lol. Thank you and can't wait for a reply!
