Hi,

The 1850 & 1860 census has Thomas & Angeline Rutledge living in Van Buren, Newton, Missouri. There is a Jacob Grindstaff (Grinestaff) b. 1844 in Arkansas living with them. I was going by the assumption that Angeline's maiden name was Grindstaff but I am now looking for proof that Jacob was her son by a previous marriage to a Grindstaff and that Angeline isn't Celana's mother. This is a hunch that I have yet to prove.

As a side note, my Ggrandfather, David Lee Nutt, killed Jake Niceley, Sarah E. Nutt Niceley's son. :-(
